It has been a few years since my college days. But even then, they were trying to fight obesity by requiring mandatory fitness classes in college! On a personal basis, I wasn’t in college to learn how to work out. Somebody else might be, but I was already on the health train, using supplements like
Orovo at the time and sticking to cheap foods like lettuce when I was short on grocery money. Most of my focus was trying to get through my major classes to get a degree. I mean if you’re majoring in English, why do you need a fitness class, chemistry, biology, etc. English is a little bit essential to almost any major, I say almost for a reason. But depending on your major, there are a number of classes that have no point for your future goals. Basic algebra should be required. But unless you’re in certain classes, advanced calculus, statistics, things like that don’t necessarily apply the same way. Either way, it wasn’t until recently that the top 10 superfoods that
Orovo is based around came out in the public eye. But I can say the fairly edible ones were already in my diet in college. I never saw the reason for a mandatory fitness class, at least not for me. I just felt it was a waste of my time and busy work so the school could charge me more money for the credits essentially speaking. But something I could learn a little bit more about, wheatgrass. I’ve never been able to stand the standard form or the wheatgrass shots you find in your local health food store. If I lost my sense of taste, I’m sure the texture is fine. But I’ve been too focused on the taste all my life, so it has zero chance of getting into my diet plan, except in pill form that I don’t have to actually taste.
